About wool's wonderful properties, washing and cleaning the wool blanket: Wool is self-cleaning; wool contains lanolin, which is a waxy fatty substance Wool can absorb about 1/3 of its own mass in the form of water vapor without feeling damp Wool is biodegradable and durable In many cases, it may be enough to shake and air in fresh air for a couple of hours, wool is antibacterial and dirt is usually not absorbed into the wool fibers but settles on the outside. If you want to wash, we recommend machine washing wool program 30 degrees, and wool detergent. Machine programs are often gentler than hand washing as the temperature is precisely regulated.
