STATERA Skin & Coat salmon oil consists of 100% cold-pressed salmon oil from wild-caught salmon. Skin & Coat consists of natural antioxidants. The salmon in Skin & Coat is sourced from the Scottish estuary, where sea temperatures and water quality are at their most optimal for salmon wellbeing, allowing the fatty acid content of the oil to remain stable and constant. To preserve salmon oil's natural antioxidants, we have cold-pressed the salmon oil directly from the fresh salmon, which would otherwise degrade during a normal production process using high temperatures and chemicals. It contains no less than ten different Omega-3 fatty acids, eight different Omega-6 fatty acids and four different Omega-9 fatty acids. Among the important omega fatty acids are of course DHA, which is the fatty acid that supports the brain, and EPA, which supports brain and heart function and contributes to healthy joints.
