Douxo Calm Mousse

DOUXO® Calm Mousse for the management of pruritus and inflammation associated with allergic conditions. This no-rinse formula contains highly purified fractions of oatmeal, plant extracts, and lipids to help soothe irritations, moisturize, and help restore the skin lipid content. The mousse is especially great for cats and for dogs that like to be massaged. The mousse can be used on the entire body or be applied on small (localized) areas such as skin folds, paws, etc. DOUXO® Calm Mousse contains Phytosphingosine, a pro-ceramide to help rebuild the natural ceramides in the skin that are critical in helping keep the skin healthy. DOUXO® Calm Mousse has been clinically proven to help reduce inflammation and help restore the skin barrier in 5 days.2 DOUXO® Calm Shampoo and Calm Mousse protocol has been clinically proven to significantly reduce pruritus (itching) and the signs of atopic dermatitis in dogs within 3 weeks.3 Shake well before use. Brush the hair coat then apply on dry hair. For localized application: Dispense 1 to 2 pumps in the hand and then apply on the targeted area, massage into the skin until fully penetrated. Do not rinse. Let air dry. Once dry, brush the hair coat again. For whole body application: Dispense 1 or 2 pumps in the hand and then apply on the skin and hair. Massage into the skin until fully penetrated. Repeat as many times as necessary to cover the whole body, avoiding areas around the eyes and mouth. Do not rinse. Let air dry. Once dry, brush the hair coat again. Apply every 3 days for 2 to 3 weeks or as recommended by your veterinarian. Note: Approximately 150 pumps per bottle. Key Ingredients: Phytosphingosine HCl 0.05% (PS): found naturally in the stratum corneum and some skin ceramides. PS applied topically can help restore the skin barrier and also has antibacterial properties. Pseudofilaggrin (Saccharomyces cerevisiae extract): glutamine-rich synthetic peptide that increases the ability of the skin to retain water. Avenanthramides (avena sativa (oat) kernel extract): a highly purified fraction of colloidal oatmeal that is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties. SK-influx® V: a combination of phytosphingosine, ceramides 1, 3 & 6, cholesterol and free fatty acids to moisturize and help stimulate regeneration of the stratum corneum. DOUXO® products do not contain paraben.
